| Our company provides home inspections that cover all of the major house systems: The foundation and structural system, the exterior walls, doors, and windows, the roof system and chimneys, the plumbing system, the electrical system, the heating and air conditioning systems, the interior, insulation and ventilation, and the fireplaces and fuel burning appliances. The average inspection will take approximately 2.5 hours. Larger homes, older homes, or homes with numerous conditions to report, may require more time. The inspection covers everything required by the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), and the inspection report is divided into the same house system categories (and follows the same order) as found in the ASHI Standards of Practice. You will receive a professionally designed report that is the easiest to read and understand in the home inspection industry. The report is written in a narrative style, enabling conditions needing correction or further evaluation to be described accurately and thoroughly. Conditions are described briefly when possible, and in detail when necessary, in a writing style understandable to those not in the inspection or construction industry. The report is in color, with color photos (when needed) appearing directly next to the condition being described. Only items relating to the inspected house are contained in the report. You will not have to navigate through page after page of general housing information not applicalbe to your particular home. The full color report will be e-mailed (in the Acrobat PDF file format ) to the client and agent (when applicable), and uploaded to my website (for viewing, downloading, or printing) when requested. The report will normally be received by the end of the day following the inspection, and sometimes on the same day. The e-mailed report is a relatively small file size for fast downloading, and can be printed using high quality resolution. A hard copy of the report will be provided when requested. |
